ORC’s new photo bar provides a self-standing frame of reference when taking pictures. Easy to see graduated arms and staff can be manipulated in any 3 axis rotational plane and can be positioned next to subject matter without contact. This is made possible by the unique design of its tripod that has 3 low profile legs that can be radially positioned 120º apart, flat against a wall, or even at 90º for positioning in a corner and still be free standing. Legs have easy to use jack screws with a bubble vial to accurately level the tripod and staff. Rules are graduated with Optirectilinear® graphics for ease of reading. Fractional or metric rules available. Included with each photo bar is a dual jaw hand clip with a telescoping pointer useful for targeting specific points of interest.

The easy to read graduated arms and staff can be manipulated in any 3-axis rotational plane and can be positioned next to the subject matter without contact. The unique design of its’ 3 leg low profile tripod permits each leg to be radially positioned 120° apart, flat against a wall, or at 90° for free standing corner requirements. Legs have easy to use jack screws with a bubble vial for accurate leveling of the tripod and staff. Two built in protractors with magnifying increment lenses provide accurate degree measurements. This is the smallest of the Vunderbar™ line of adjustable non-contact frame-of-reference tools used for photography. While small it still has many of the basic features as its’ larger counterparts, and even has some unique features of its own. The articulating 12” long arm adjusts horizontally, vertically, in depth and rotates about a lockable axis (Picture.1). Its vertical column stands 30 or 60 cm tall and the tripod base (Picture.2) has ORC’s specially designed pivoting legs that are radially adjustable. The tripod can maintain balance near a wall or in a corner, has rubber feet for smooth surfaces, and a low center of gravity to provide stability regardless of arm gyrations. Total weight of the unit is only 1lb and comes with a carry case 21⁄4 x4”x12”.
One of the special features of this tool is that it comes with a detachable 8 cm corner Square (#2 Style, Picture.3). All Components are non ferrous and completely washable, and each unit disassembles without any hand tools required. Rules are graduated with Optirectilinear® graphics for ease of reading. The basic tripod has finally been redesigned, and in no small way. Everything has been analyzed and improved from the point where the camera is mounted to where the feet touch the ground. The #1/4-20 camera mounting stud is now made of corrosion proof stainless steel and the legs are low profile, only 2” high, and radially adjustable.
